Recently, I have been chatting with people about retirement. It could be due to the fact that many Baby Boomers are anticipating, or have reached, retirement, and the issue dominates many conversations. The sad news is that many Baby Boomers are living in poverty due to the fact that they did not realize the future was coming and would prove their astuteness, or lack thereof, in investing and planning for their retirement, hence, the poverty level for so many of them.
When we consider this, we might ask those who are struggling within their “golden years” what they would like to pass on to the generations coming behind them. After speaking to many of them, most have the same advice: Plan for your future in a proactive way.
Please watch a film that may help.
This small video is only the tip of the iceberg for the current generations: Millenials, GenYs & GenXs alike, and actually these concepts can be realized by Baby Boomers as well. My point here is this. Start getting educated on ways in which you ought to consider real estate as a retirement hedge. Just start getting educated, and do not forget: Realtors are investors too, but they are also people who have a gateway into many homes on the market, be it regular sales, real estate owned properties by lenders, foreclosures, auctions, and many more. And don’t forget about us: The Nolan Group! Good Educating and may you have a wonderful time with family and friends this Thanksgiving holiday.
